The story
The story of Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals began with a picture of a real baby giraffe with a neck bandage who was successfully treated at a veterinary medical center. This inspired Jennifer Welborn, the author, to create a story about Rosie, a young girl who travels the world helping animals who have common afflictions that children experience.

About the creators
Jennifer Welborn is an animal lover and educator with a B.S. degree in wildlife management. She has worked with moose, coyotes, bobcats, and bald eagles.

Rozillia MH is an African American illustrator, writer, and educator with a degree in linguistics. She likes to travel the world.
